According to Odaily, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is now fully controlled by the Republican Party and is expected to introduce crypto-friendly regulations in 2026. The agency will continue to implement the pro-crypto rulemaking efforts initiated last year, as Republicans are generally more favorable toward the cryptocurrency industry than Democrats. It is reported that the U.S. Senate is expected to vote on the crypto market structure bill in the near future. (Cointelegraph)
