Foresight News reported, according to The Block, that the Korean cryptocurrency exchange alliance issued a statement criticizing the government's proposal to limit the shareholding ratio of major shareholders in cryptocurrency platforms to 15% to 20%. The proposed restriction could "seriously hinder" the development of Korea's digital asset industry and market. Any attempt to artificially alter the ownership structure of private enterprises would undermine the foundation of this emerging industry.
