Nu Skin Stock Sinks After Weak Quarter, Soft Outlook

Nu Skin Enterprises Inc. (NYSE:NUS) reported fourth-quarter 2025 results on Thursday after market close and provided a 2026 outlook. The stock declined following the announcement.

The company missed analyst expectations, reporting GAAP diluted EPS of 29 cents compared to a 30-cent estimate, and revenue of $370.32 million versus an expected $382.70 million.

Revenue declined 16.9% from $445.55 million a year ago. EPS, excluding restructuring and other charges, was 29 cents compared to 38 cents last year.

Gross margin increased to 70.7% from 62.7%. Operating margin improved to 6.3% from a negative 11.9%. The customer base totaled 748,796, down 10%. Paid affiliates numbered 129,311, a decrease of 11%, and sales leaders totaled 30,045, down 19%.

The company said more than 20,000 Prysm iO devices are already in the hands of its sales leaders, generating more than 700,000 scans. It has begun pre-market activities in India ahead of a full market opening anticipated in the back half of the year.

By segment, Nu Skin revenue was $321.80 million, down from $362.45 million. Rhyz’s revenue was $48.52 million, down from $83.10 million.

Nu Skin ended 2025 with $238.63 million in cash and cash equivalents. Total debt was $224.19 million, of which $20.0 million was due within one year.

Ryan Napierski, Nu Skin president and CEO, commented, “This past year was a pivotal year as we furthered our transformation toward becoming the world’s leading intelligent beauty and wellness platform and laid the groundwork for our 2026 growth initiatives.”

“Looking ahead, we continue to build sales leader alignment in the first half of the year around the global launch of Prysm iO, positioning us for a return to year-over-year revenue growth by year’s end.”

Outlook

For the first quarter of 2026, Nu Skin forecasts revenue between $320.00 million and $340.00 million, below the $356.80 million estimate. The company expects GAAP EPS of 10 to 20 cents, compared to a 27-cent estimate.

For full-year 2026, the company projects revenue between $1.35 billion and $1.50 billion, compared to a $1.53 billion estimate. GAAP EPS is expected to range from 80 cents to $1.20, versus a $1.42 estimate.

NUS Price Action: Nu Skin Enterprises shares were down 16.75% at $8.50 during premarket trading on Friday.
