According to Jinse Finance, the decentralized protocol OmniPact, which is building a trust layer for peer-to-peer trading of physical and digital assets, has announced the completion of a $50 million private funding round. The investors are a consortium composed of an institutional investor and family offices who requested anonymity. The protocol leverages smart contracts as on-chain collateral to address the "trust issue" in peer-to-peer transactions. The new funds will support the development of its core contracts and multi-chain infrastructure, as well as related security audits, while also advancing the launch of its testnet in the first quarter of 2026.
