Wall Street strategist: Probability of market crash raised to 35%, risks increasing
ChainCatcher news, according to Golden Ten Data, Wall Street veteran strategist Ed Yardeni stated that as the Iran war continues to escalate and impacts global markets, the risk of a major sell-off in the US stock market is increasing. He has raised the probability of a market crash from 20% to 35%, while significantly lowering the likelihood of a market rally from 20% to just 5%. Yardeni pointed out that the US economy and stock market are getting caught in Iran's predicament, and if the oil shock persists, the Federal Reserve will face the dual risks of rising inflation and unemployment rates.
