Golden Ten Data, March 11 – U.S. House Speaker Johnson downplayed concerns about the surge in gasoline prices in the U.S. during Iran's military operations, calling it merely a "temporary fluctuation" that will be quickly resolved once the conflict ends. When asked whether Americans could tolerate gasoline prices exceeding $5 per gallon, Johnson dismissed such concerns. Johnson said, "I believe the scope and mission of this operation have been carefully designed and are limited. I think the mission is being accomplished and is almost over. Moreover, the Commander-in-Chief himself has stated in the past 24 hours that the operation is about to end, so gasoline prices will adjust afterwards." He stated that most of the increase in gas prices may be due to "the regime there" closing the Strait of Hormuz, adding, "The Strait of Hormuz will reopen, which will take a few weeks, and gas prices will fall back." Johnson continued, "So, this is just a temporary fluctuation in the extraordinary trend of America returning to energy dominance. The evidence speaks for itself, and will continue to do so."
