The NYSE ARCA Gold Miners Index, which trades around the clock in global markets, rose by 1.64% to 2965.97 points, maintaining an upward trend throughout the day. The Materials Index, which trades during the US stock market session, closed up 0.58%, while the Metals and Mining Index closed up 1.35%.
