Golden Ten Data, March 13 - Citi analysts stated that if the price gap between crude oil and refined fuel continues to widen, European airlines will be impacted. Even though the sector has already experienced sell-offs in the past two weeks, investors have not fully priced in the risk of longer-term disruptions that may arise from the Middle East conflict. The analysts also noted that due to oversupply on short-haul routes in Europe, airlines may be limited in their ability to pass higher fuel costs onto passengers by raising ticket prices.
