Golden Ten Data reported on March 16 that, according to the British "The Daily Telegraph", maritime intelligence company Windward data shows that last Saturday, no ships were confirmed to have passed through the Strait of Hormuz via the Automatic Identification System (AIS). This is the first time since the Iran conflict began on February 28 that no commercial vessels have passed through the strait, which usually handles about one-fifth of the world's oil and gas transportation.
