Glonghui, April 6th | According to reports, if the Iran conflict causes a prolonged disruption in crude oil supply, South Korea may introduce a new supplementary budget in the second half of the year. Affected by this news, the KOSPI Composite Index strengthened in early trading. The KOSPI Composite Index rose as much as 2%, Samsung Electronics surged nearly 4%, and SK Hynix gained more than 2%. Japanese stock markets also climbed, and Nasdaq futures turned slightly higher. However, against the backdrop of persistently high oil prices, the downward trend in South Korean equities has gradually taken shape.
