CertiK launches AI Auditor: Balancing low false positives and high accuracy, with real-world testing identifying 88.6% of actual vulnerabilities
According to BlockBeats, on April 7, Web3 security company CertiK announced the launch of its AI auditing tool, AI Auditor, along with the release of a series of open-source integration solutions for AI Coding Agents. This system was initially designed as an assistant for CertiK's internal security experts and has been officially made public after over six months of real-world scenario validation. It is reported that, in the evaluation of 35 real Web3 security incidents in 2026 (with test data excluded from model training or knowledge base construction), CertiK AI Auditor accurately pinpointed 88.6% of the actual vulnerability causes. The system is designed with an emphasis on a "high signal-to-noise ratio," maintaining strong detection capabilities while significantly reducing noise from false positives.
As AI development tools and agents become standard for Web3 development teams, industry security protection logic is rapidly evolving from "post-event detection" to "full-process integration." CertiK AI Auditor moves security audits, which were previously conducted independently at a project’s later stages, to become a continuously running assistant within the workflow. This allows developers to access on-chain security insights without switching environments and reduces response time to emerging threats.
AI Auditor has been incorporated into CertiK's long-term AI business roadmap. CertiK stated that the team is currently developing more new features, planning to further integrate security capabilities into a broader range of developer tools, compliance processes, and institutional-level monitoring systems.
