ING: The outcome of US-Iran negotiations remains uncertain, and oil prices may stay volatile this week.
According to Golden Ten Data on April 8, analysts at ING stated that after a temporary ceasefire agreement was reached, oil prices may remain volatile this week as traders await clear results from the US-Iran negotiations. The analysts noted that the future direction of oil prices will depend on whether the negotiations can be converted into a long-term agreement and whether strait transportation can continue to normalize. They pointed out that refined oil prices fell in tandem with crude oil, with European diesel futures once dropping by 23%, marking the largest decline in over four years.
