Data shows that 99% of Polymarket traders cannot consistently make stable profits
According to Odaily, crypto analyst Andrey Sergeenkov released data on Monday showing that only 0.015% of Polymarket traders were able to consistently earn over $5,000 in monthly income for four consecutive months. The data reveals that nearly 1% of traders made a profit exceeding $5,000 in a single month, but just 0.1% managed to repeat this performance in the following month. Out of approximately 2.5 million wallets, only 840 wallets achieved cumulative profits of more than $100,000, and these included trading accounts of professional institutions such as hedge funds.
Among the more profitable traders, most did not remain on the platform for the long term. Of the 6,600 wallet addresses with average monthly profits over $5,000, only 172 stayed active for more than a year, accounting for just 2.6%. Sergeenkov stated that most traders leave after short-term trading. This analysis only includes realized profits and losses, and the data covers the period from April 2024 to April 1, 2026.
