Shell seeks to begin development of the Venezuela-Trinidad cross-border giant Loran-Manatee gas field next year

This gas field spans the border between Venezuela and Trinidad and Tobago. The NGC chairman stated that Shell has informed NGC it is working to achieve first production from the joint gas field next year. Shell has increased the pipeline delivery capacity to Trinidad from the originally planned 700 million cubic feet per day to 1 billion cubic feet per day.
