Genius launches the "Refund" airdrop option, allowing users to burn 100% of their GENIUS tokens in exchange for a refund of platform fees.
Foresight News reported that Genius, a Perp DEX trading terminal supported by YZi Labs, tweeted that the team has listened to community feedback and added a "Refund" option to the airdrop documentation. Users can use the Refund button to burn 100% of their allocated GENIUS and receive a refund of fees collected by Genius. This option is available within 48 hours after the TGE.
Genius also clarified that the refund applies only to net fees, not all expenses. Previously, Genius has distributed more than 7 million US dollars in cash rebates and 1.3 million US dollars in referral rewards to the trading community. If the total trading fee is 20 basis points (15 basis points from Pancake Swap and 5 basis points from Genius), only the 5 basis points collected by Genius will be refunded. If users believe that holding GENIUS has longer-term value, they can make their own choice. The team will continue to listen and work with the community to develop together.
