Glonghui, April 14 — Albertsons expects same-store sales in fiscal year 2026 to be flat to up 1% compared to last year, while analysts on average had expected growth of 1.58%. Persistently high inflation and economic uncertainty are forcing some consumers to tighten spending, putting pressure on sales for companies such as Albertsons.
