Lavrov stated that, prior to the attack on Iran, the Strait of Hormuz had not been blocked and there were no issues with the transportation of goods. Now, all of this faces significant risk, stemming from the aggression against Iran by the United States and Israel. The underlying reason is "Israel's obsession with eliminating Iran, and the U.S. viewing the oil market as its primary objective." He also said that, in response to the potential obstruction of oil and gas exports caused by the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, Russia is undoubtedly capable of helping countries that "work with Russia on the basis of equality and mutual benefit" to make up for the energy supply shortfall.
