The Ministry of Finance stated in a press release that another individual subject to sanctions is Santiago Hernan Bermudez Tapia, Deputy Minister of Energy and Mines of Nicaragua. In addition, several companies have also been sanctioned; the US side claims these companies, together with the Nicaraguan government, profited from gold and maintained its political control. Expand
