Foresight News reported that Bitcoin treasury company Matador Technologies announced the purchase of 2 BTC using proceeds from its 30 million CAD ATM equity program, at an average price of approximately 74,906 USD. After this increase, the company holds about 175.6 BTC and equivalents. Matador has placed the newly acquired BTC into its yield-generating strategy in cooperation with Galaxy, generating returns through systematic covered call options and other methods. As of April 16, the company’s Bitcoin per share (BPS) is approximately 0.00000148 BTC, an increase of about 101% compared to the end of October 2025. The company plans to reach a holding target of 1,000 BTC by the end of 2026.
