Nvidia's market value surpasses 5 trillion dollars again
According to Odaily, at the close of the US stock market on April 24, NVIDIA's stock price rose more than 4%, pushing its market value past 5 trillion US dollars. This is the first time in nearly six months, since late October last year, that NVIDIA's market value has once again surpassed 5 trillion US dollars.
Last week, Stanford University released a report mentioning the rapid adoption of AI. The report states that AI is becoming widespread at an unprecedented speed, with generative AI adoption already reaching 53%—surpassing the pace of personal computers and the internet. Meanwhile, DeepSeek launched a new model, DeepSeek-V4, which features ultra-long context comprehension with millions of words and leads domestically and in the open-source sector in terms of intelligent agent capabilities, world knowledge, and reasoning performance. The model is developed in collaboration with Huawei Ascend. As cutting-edge models are adapted for and collaborate with domestic computing power providers, the use of domestic computing power is expected to accelerate, which also objectively presents challenges to NVIDIA.
