Recently, a CCTV reporter interviewed a Turkish denim clothing exporter. This was the reporter's third interview with him, each time prompted by regional conflicts. In 2022, the Russia-Ukraine conflict broke out; in 2023, regional turmoil coupled with high inflation; and this time, it was the Strait of Hormuz crisis. After the interview, facing the ongoing unrest, the exporter helplessly told the reporter, "I truly hope that next time we meet, we won't have to talk about war anymore."

On Wednesday, approximately four-fifths of the constituents in the Russell 2000 Index recorded declines.
