Golden Ten Data reported on April 28 that a research report from Huatai Securities stated that, considering the transportation disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz and the limited alternative routes, coupled with the potential for oilfields in the Middle East that have halted production to face several months of restoration, and the possibility that once the Strait reopens, the world may begin another round of inventory replenishment for crude oil, refined oil products, and other energy chemicals, the mid-term oil price benchmark is expected to remain high. The forecast for the average price of Brent crude oil in 2026 is maintained at 90 USD per barrel.
