Tether slowed USDT reserve gold purchases in the first quarter, increasing its holdings by about 6 tons in a single quarter.
According to ChainCatcher, a report shows that as of the end of March, USDT reserves included gold valued at 19.8 billion US dollars, which equals approximately 132 metric tons at the market price at that time. This is an increase from 126 tons at the end of December last year, but gold accounts for only 10% of the reserves.
