```htmlGolden Ten Data reported on May 5 that analysts from Barclays Bank wrote that it is unclear whether Trump's threat to impose a 25% tariff on cars and trucks exported to the US from the EU will actually come into effect. The bank stated, "We believe there may be agreements, delays, and exemptions, but the level of tariffs being discussed would pose a significant negative impact on the profit margins of EU original equipment manufacturers." The bank added that Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Volkswagen would be affected the most, while the impact on Ferrari is not yet obvious. However, Barclays believes Ferrari will mainly use its contractual rights to pass most of the tariffs on. Aston Martin will not be affected by this round of tariff increases because there is a separate bilateral trade agreement between the UK and US.```
