```htmlGolden Ten Data, May 5|Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang recently stated in an interview with the bipartisan American think tank "Special Competitive Studies Project" that the company's market share in China's artificial intelligence (AI) accelerator market has dropped to nearly "zero." Compared to about two years ago, when Nvidia held over 60% of the market, this dramatic reversal highlights the profound impact of changing US-China technology policies on the industry.Jensen Huang bluntly stated that Nvidia's business in China is almost completely stalled and believes that US restrictions on chip exports to China may be “counterproductive” from a strategic perspective. He emphasized that abandoning a massive market like China may not be a wise choice, suggesting that policies should be flexible and adapt to industry developments. Huang recommended allowing US chip companies to continue competing in the Chinese market, which would help enhance the global influence of US AI technology.According to estimates from Bernstein Securities, due to US export controls and local demand being prioritized for supply, Nvidia's market share in China's AI graphics processing unit (GPU) market may drop from about 66% in 2024 to around 8% in the coming years. At the same time, China's domestic chip supply chain is rising rapidly, expected to satisfy around 80% of market demand and accelerate the substitution process.```
