Robinhood executive: Overseas demand for U.S. stocks is growing, tokenization will drive global investment
According to ChainCatcher, reporting from CoinDesk, Johan Kerbrat, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Crypto Business at a certain exchange, stated at the Consensus Miami conference that demand from overseas investors for U.S. stocks (especially companies related to AI) is growing, but access remains limited in many regions.
Kerbrat pointed out that features such as tokenization, 24/7 trading, and instant settlement will enable investors to build global portfolios, rather than being restricted to strategies in a single country. The exchange has already launched tokenized stock products in Europe and plans to expand access to asset classes traditionally reserved for qualified investors, such as private equity. Kerbrat emphasized that the goal is to provide investors the option to participate in investments before new assets are publicly listed.
