Mitsubishi UFJ: If nonfarm payroll data supports a rate cut, the dollar may weaken
According to Golden Ten Data, ChainCatcher reported that Mitsubishi UFJ Bank analyst Derek Halpenny stated in a report that if the upcoming US nonfarm payrolls data supports Fed rate cuts, the US dollar may decline. If employment data is weak, combined with a potential further drop in oil prices in the coming days due to a possible peace agreement between the US and Iran, it could trigger market expectations of monetary policy divergence between the Federal Reserve and other central banks.
