Aptos plans to launch a native encrypted mempool, becoming the first L1 public blockchain with this feature.
According to ChainCatcher, Aptos announced that upon governance vote approval, it will become the first Layer 1 public blockchain to provide a native encrypted mempool. This feature achieves complete confidentiality of transaction intent without impacting transaction speed, and its trust assumptions are consistent with the network itself. It aims to protect users from frontrunning at the protocol level.
