Foresight News reports that Swiss digital asset bank Sygnum has completed a trial of digital asset trading powered by real-time AI agents. In this pilot project, AI agents execute multi-step real-time transactions on the blockchain mainnet using plain text instructions issued by clients. The agents independently plan and prepare each step based on the instructions, review relevant smart contracts, and flag potential transaction risks before submitting each transaction to clients for approval. Transactions are signed only using clients' self-custodial wallets on their own devices. The project is built on an MCP server independently developed by the AI team, with Claude serving as the underlying AI model.
