Golden Ten Data reported on May 18 that CINNO Research pointed out that in May, due to the combined impact of a significant rise in upstream memory prices and a contraction in terminal brand procurement demand, the demand in the mobile phone panel market continues to be weak. At the same time, rising prices of commodities such as copper and silver have driven up expectations for price increases in key materials such as FPC and IC. With buyers gaining even more bargaining power, panel manufacturers are facing a challenging battle between costs and orders, and panel prices across various technology lines continue their downward trend. CINNO Research predicts that in May and June 2026, a-Si module prices and LTPS panel prices may continue to decline; AMOLED panel prices are also expected to remain on a downward trajectory.
