——Trump successfully gave the market a “lifeline” until Tuesday with just one tweet.

Traders, our analysis is based on the global BRANDED MASTERPIECE

On Monday, investors breathed a long sigh of relief as oil prices and US Treasury yields retreated from their highs, allowing the market to escape a massive crash. Behind this was Trump’s unprecedented market intervention—creating good news out of thin air.

The crucial market turning point occurred around 3:00 a.m. Beijing time, when Trump posted on Truth Social, saying that there would not be an attack on Iran the next day (prior to this, both the US and Iran had rejected each other's new peace proposals).

At the request of Emir Tamim of Qatar, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia, and President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the UAE, the US will not launch the planned attack on Iran tomorrow. Serious negotiations are currently underway. If an acceptable agreement is not reached, preparations to strike Iran are in place.

After this news was released, the US stock market and gold turned upward, while oil prices, US Treasury yields, and the dollar fell sharply. The market actually soared and plunged simply because an unknown attack was canceled. If the post had said “there has been progress in US-Iran peace talks,” the market might have only seen a slight uptick, since everyone is already fatigued by endless negotiations. Instead, he directly announced, “I was going to bomb Iran tomorrow, the orders were already given, but I halted everything at the last minute because three Middle Eastern heavyweights asked me to.”

The highest level of creating leverage is not to buy chips, but to fabricate a massive threat out of thin air and then remove it as a favor.

Wall Street is currently focused on three markets: oil prices, US Treasury yields, and the stock market. Last night, Trump managed to steer all of these in his desired direction:

- US crude oil fell, but held at $100;

- The 10-year US Treasury yield fell below the 4.6% level, closing at 4.59%;

- US stocks were mixed—Dow Jones Index rose by 0.32%, S&P 500 fell by 0.07%, Nasdaq fell by 0.51%. The Dow represents the past, the Nasdaq represents the future, but the S&P 500 more accurately reflected the real market last night—a slight drop.

It was thought that the US Treasury yield had already sent a warning signal last Friday and that Trump might stay quiet for a day, but he proved to be one step ahead.

The timing was also perfect—3:00 a.m. Beijing time, exactly when US equity market liquidity is entering the late session, an extremely sensitive stage. When the Truth Social popup appeared, algorithmic traders had no time to verify whether the US really had bombers gathering in the Persian Gulf; all they could see were the key words: “No strike tomorrow” and “serious negotiations.”

The Morgan Stanley strategy team led by Shawn Kim is most optimistic about the core computing industry chain for AI infrastructure, including GPUs, ASICs, wafer foundry, and advanced packaging. They also favor the optical interconnect and high-performance network infrastructure supply chain. As for memory chips, they adopt a selective allocation approach, focusing on structural growth opportunities and tactical investments in major original manufacturers.
