The financial market relies on bubbles to change lives, and the economy of society is also driven by bubbles to fuel human imagination and promote social progress. Therefore, bubbles are not to be feared, nor are they a pejorative term.Hong Hao previously stated in his 2026 outlook that a great bubble would emerge in the year of Chi Ma Hong Yang, and that 2026 would bring investors an opportunity to reverse their fortune. He believes that the current situation is similar to the internet bubble of 2000, but valuations are not as high as they were back then, and most companies now have actual cash flow, unlike Cisco's inflated profits at the time. In addition, due to the existence of new tools such as negative gamma, leveraged ETF, and zero-day options, Hong Hao speculates that the bubble market may last for about another three months. In fact, many investors believe that the short-term surge in AI stocks poses considerable risk. However, even if this so-called AI semiconductor bubble bursts, it does not mean that the AI rally is completely over. Instead, after a wave of consolidation, as the fundamentals of the AI industry continue to evolve, a new surge is likely to emerge—though the companies that lead the charge may no longer be the same as before. For real economy companies, Hong Hao suggests that now is the best environment for fundraising.

BUZZ - Morningstar expects Woodside's revenue growth will outpace global peers by the end of this decade

On October 9, Morningstar predicted that the revenue of Australian oil and gas producer Woodside Energy (WDS.AX) will grow by over 30% by 2030, outpacing any of its international peers. Woodside Energy’s share price dropped by 0.6% on the day to 32.12 AUD, after surging 2.6% in the previous trading session. The stock is poised to end a three-week losing streak, with oil prices rising due to escalating tensions in the Middle East, and is set for a 2.8% weekly gain O/R. Morningstar expects Woodside’s revenue to increase as major new projects come online, and forecasts free cash flow to exceed 7 billion USD after 2030, reflecting a 300% rise from 2025. The report added that market sentiment remains bearish, with the current share price below its estimated fair value of 44.00 AUD. Year-to-date, Woodside’s share price has risen 36.2%, while Santos shares are up 41.3%.
