Base status update outage lasts over 30 hours, withdrawals delayed
According to Odaily, L2BEAT Research Lead donnoh.eth posted on X stating that the Base network status update system has been down for more than 30 hours due to a bug related to a recent upgrade. However, because the on-chain withdrawal period is set to about 7 days, users did not notice this issue for a significant period.
This malfunction involves an abnormality in the status update layer but did not immediately affect the user withdrawal experience, which led to the problem not being widely noticed initially. The issue has now sparked discussion in the community, with attention focused on its impact on on-chain data synchronization and operational monitoring mechanisms.
