Glonghui June 1|NVIDIA (NVDA.US) rose nearly 2% in pre-market trading to $215.3. According to reports, on June 1, NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang delivered a keynote speech at the GTC conference held in Taipei, China. Jensen Huang announced that NVIDIA’s latest data center CPU, Vera, has entered mass production; the launch of the RTX Spark superchip marks a direct entry into the personal computer market, and the company is continuously expanding its ecosystem in the robotics and autonomous driving fields, further strengthening its core position in the entire AI industry chain.NVIDIA announced that the Vera Rubin architecture has fully entered the mass production phase. The Vera CPU will officially begin production in the third quarter of this year, with OpenAI, Anthropic, and SpaceX among the first to deploy the chip in their data centers.NVIDIA also announced the launch of the RTX Spark superchip, signaling its official entry into the personal computer processor market, with plans to debut this fall in high-end laptops and desktops. The chip is co-developed by NVIDIA and MediaTek, manufactured by TSMC using the 3N process, and features a CPU with up to 20 cores and a Blackwell-architecture GPU with 6,144 cores. Both share memory and connect via the NVLink interface, running Microsoft Windows for Arm operating system.NVIDIA announced a partnership with Chinese robotics startup Unitree Robotics to launch the Isaac GR00T humanoid robot reference platform for universities and academic institutions. The system is based on the Unitree H2 robot, integrates the Jetson Thor computation module equipped with a Blackwell architecture GPU, the GR00T software stack, and a dexterous five-finger hand manufactured by Singapore’s Sharpa. The robot features 31 degrees of freedom, stands about 6 feet tall, weighs 150 pounds, and is ready to use out of the box.

SpaceX to acquire nationwide 800MHz spectrum portfolio pending FCC approval

SpaceX (SPCX.US) announced on Thursday that it has reached an agreement to acquire a portfolio of low-frequency spectrum licenses covering the entire United States, enabling it to directly compete with traditional wireless communication giants nationwide. While Starlink Mobile’s existing global 2 GHz mid-band spectrum will provide high bandwidth capacity, this new spectrum will allow its signals to penetrate obstacles. This move accelerates Elon Musk’s ambitious plan to bypass traditional wireless infrastructure and deliver cellular network connectivity directly to smartphones from Earth’s orbit. The deal involves acquiring 100% of a nationwide 800 MHz spectrum portfolio owned by private equity firm Grain Management, and is still subject to regulatory approval by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). In addition, the FCC this week approved Starlink Mobile’s application for a second-generation satellite constellation, authorizing SpaceX to deploy 15,000 satellites worldwide optimized for the 2 GHz band. Following the announcement, shares of US telecom companies fell in after-hours trading, while SpaceX (SPCX.US) shares rose by over 1.7%.
