CoinShares: Digital asset investment products saw outflows of 1.67 billions USD last week, marking three consecutive weeks of net outflows
Foresight News reports that CoinShares has released its latest weekly report, indicating that digital asset investment products saw outflows of $1.67 billion last week, marking the third consecutive week of net outflows and the second largest weekly outflow of 2026, only surpassed by the week of January 23. Over the past three weeks, total outflows have reached $4.21 billion, with a significant decline in participation in altcoins. The number of assets recording net inflows plummeted from 11 three weeks ago to just 5 this week. Due to the ongoing spread of risk-averse sentiment triggered by the situation in Iran, total assets under management dropped from $148 billion the previous week to $141 billion, the lowest level since early April. Among these, Bitcoin saw outflows of $1.438 billion, marking the largest weekly Bitcoin outflow in 2026. Year-to-date cumulative inflows have been reduced from $3.9 billion two weeks ago to $1.2 billion; Ethereum outflows amounted to $257 million. In terms of altcoins, only 5 assets saw net inflows exceeding $1 million this week: XRP with $20.3 million, Hyperliquid with $10.8 million, and Near with $7.6 million. Regionally, one exchange led this week’s outflows, recording $1.63 billion; Germany joined the flight to safety this week, with $25.7 million in outflows; Sweden saw $6.6 million in outflows, and Hong Kong had $4.5 million in outflows.
