ARK Invest: Opportunities Lurk in the Cryptocurrency Market "Graveyard" as Many High-Quality Assets Are Overlooked
According to Odaily, ARK Invest Director of Digital Asset Research Lorenzo Valente wrote on X that there is now a "graveyard" in the cryptocurrency sector that no one wants to enter, but within it lie many overlooked high-quality protocols. The tokens related to these protocols have fallen 70%, 80%, or even 90% from their all-time highs, yet they continue to generate fees, experience sustained growth, and maintain leadership in their respective fields—only lacking attention. He gave examples:
Aave: price-to-earnings ratio only 9x
Solana: price-to-earnings ratio 12x, holding $6 billion in free cash flow
Ethereum: price-to-earnings ratio 17x, yet regarded as a "has-been asset"
Uniswap: EBITDA 8x, with on-chain influence covering approximately 2 billion users
Avalanche (AVAX): trades below its own treasury liquidation value
Valente pointed out that while these protocols were venture capital favorites in 2021, today they have become market orphans. Compared to chasing current hype such as Hype and Near, there is greater opportunity in searching for value among assets that have fallen into the "ruins zone." He emphasized: "You won't get rich by buying popular assets; you profit by buying those that are temporarily out of favor but still fundamentally strong."

Citi: Samsung's Q3 operating profit exceeds expectations, semiconductor business shows strong recovery momentum
Samsung Electronics’ preliminary operating profit for the third quarter reached 10.74 trillion KRW, up 20% quarter-on-quarter and surging 782% year-on-year. Citi stated that the core driving force behind this explosive performance is the strong recovery of its semiconductor business, which is sufficient to offset the negative impact of unfavorable currency exchange rates, bonus expenses, and losses in the mobile division. With the ramp-up of HBM4 production and a significant increase in ASP, Citi is optimistic about Samsung’s earnings flexibility in 2027 and maintains its buy rating.
