Gelonghui June 8｜The UK's competition regulator announced on Monday that it will launch an investigation into eBay's $1.2 billion acquisition of the Gen Z-focused fashion resale platform Depop from Etsy. The deal was announced earlier this year and is expected to help Etsy further focus on its core market of handmade and vintage goods, with the goal of reversing business losses.
