Interactive Brokers Sees 82% Year-
On June 10, Interactive Brokers (IBKR) reported its monthly performance for electronic brokerage services for May 2026, showing significant growth across several core metrics. The number of net new accounts reached 135,000, up from approximately 100,000 in February, March, and April, marking an 82% year-over-year increase and a 30% month-over-month increase. Notably, the impact of the 'Regulatory Plan,' released on May 22, primarily affected the market in the latter half of May. The transfer of clients from platforms such as an exchange was only partially reflected within this timeframe.
