Hyperliquid ecosystem perpetual contract platform Ventuals shuts down, team will join another project within the ecosystem
Foresight News reported that the Hyperliquid ecosystem perpetual contract platform Ventuals announced via Twitter that it will shut down the platform. The team will join another team within the Hyperliquid ecosystem, with specific information to be disclosed later. Since its launch, Ventuals has locked over 500,000 HYPE tokens, with a trading volume exceeding 650 million US dollars, and has previously offered perpetual contract exposure to unlisted technology companies such as OpenAI and Anthropic.
Regarding the shutdown arrangements, the OPENAI and ANTHROPIC markets will suspend trading on June 15 at 22:30 (UTC+8) and 23:30 (UTC+8) respectively, with the settlement price using the past 24-hour TWAP of the mark price, being 1,341.80 US dollars and 1,618.90 US dollars respectively. WHEAT, SOY and other commodity markets, as well as MAG7, SEMIS and other index markets, will be gradually settled and trading paused from June 18 onward. vHYPE holders can initiate redemption after all markets are suspended; HYPE will be refunded at a 1:1 ratio with staking yield included, expected to be credited as early as June 27 at 10:00 (UTC+8). Ventuals also announced the termination of its points program and will not issue tokens.
