Changelly hosts unfiltered DeFi debate for the industry on July 2

By:Cointelegraph

June 16, 2026 – Hosted by Changelly, the show puts the industry's hottest narratives—AI agents, stablecoins, cross-chain infrastructure, wallet super-apps and more—on trial, with builders and skeptics on the same stage and a live audience Q&A. Free to attend on YouTube, X and LinkedIn.

Format

  • Debate, not panel. Each narrative gets defended and challenged ("build it or kill it?")
  • DeFi builders vs. DeFi skeptics on one stage
  • Unfiltered takes. The thinking builders share with each other, not the press line
  • Live audience Q&A
  • Free, streamed on YouTube / X / LinkedIn

Speaker info

  • John Adam Khandjian — Changelly
  • Aram Mughalyan — leading Web3 KOL
  • Additional top Web3 founders, builders, industry leaders, and secret guests (to be announced later)

Main topics up for debate

The article should preview the debate motions — each phrased as a provocation the panel will build or kill:

  • Bridges as a standalone product category vs. making bridges invisible (chain abstraction as the default Web3 experience)
  • Do we need more L2s and L3s?
  • AI agents becoming the primary users of DeFi—evolution or narrative ahead of the infrastructure?
  • Stablecoins as crypto's most important use case—and whether DEX liquidity can replace centralized order books
  • Self-custody as the future of crypto ownership
  • Wallets as all-in-one financial super-apps, with native cross-chain swaps
  • Regulated DeFi as the path to mass adoption
  • DEXs eventually replacing centralized exchanges
  • Trading fees heading to zero

The event is entirely free to attend and will be broadcast live across major social platforms.
