With this volume, the publicly traded company, listed under the ticker symbol BMNR, has become the second-largest cryptocurrency treasury firm in the market.

The leadership remains in the hands of Michael Saylor and Strategy, known for their Bitcoin-focused strategy. However, Bitmine, led by Tom Lee, has chosen a different path by concentrating its reserves in Ethereum.

The amount accumulated by the company represents a significant portion of the circulating supply of ETH. Considering current market prices, the position is equivalent to tens of billions of dollars in value, demonstrating a long-term vision regarding the potential of the Ethereum network.

The new acquisition also indicates that the company does not intend to simply maintain its current reserves. The move reinforces a continuous policy of acquisitions, similar to the model that made Strategy one of the companies most associated with Bitcoin in the traditional financial market.

In recent years, Strategy has transformed its actions into an indirect form of BTC exposure for investors who prefer to acquire stakes in publicly traded companies rather than buying cryptocurrencies directly.
