The yield on the 2-year UK government bond rose by 1.1 basis points to 4.184%. The yield on the 30-year UK government bond fell by 3.5 basis points, while the yield on the 50-year UK government bond declined by 2.9 basis points. The yield spread between the 2-year and 10-year UK government bonds decreased by 3.477 basis points, standing at +60.402 basis points.

The transaction price was $375 million, with each Simulations shareholder receiving $18.50 in cash per share, according to an earlier statement. As a result of the acquisition, Simulations said it has become a privately held company and its common stock will no longer trade on the Nasdaq Global Select Market.
