According to Odaily, in response to today’s Wall Street Journal report exposing Polymarket for allegedly marketing to US users through simulated trades and fake profit videos, “White-Haired Stock God” Serenity stated on X that prediction markets will face extensive additional regulatory scrutiny. He pointed out that regulators should also investigate how Polymarket pays KOLs for marketing fees to conduct undisclosed paid commentary, thus manipulating the X algorithm. He stated that, as the most subscribed user on X, he often receives such collaboration offers, but does not accept paid promotions to ensure his personal research remains uninfluenced by external factors. Additionally, he reiterated in the comments section: “I only use X; any account on other platforms is a scammer.”

The biotechnology firm announced late Monday that it was issuing approximately 4.1 million shares at $85 per share, an 8.3% discount to its last closing price. The company plans to use the net proceeds to advance its programs in gastroenterology, rheumatology, and dermatology, as well as to move a new project—SPY072—into later-stage development for the chronic skin disease hidradenitis suppurativa, among other uses. According to LSEG data, 16 of 17 analysts rate the stock a “strong buy” or “buy,” with one analyst rating it “hold.” The median price target is $123.
