TBook partners with AlphaToken to expand tokenized gold sales channels
Foresight News reported that RWA liquidity layer TBook has entered into a partnership with tokenization infrastructure provider AlphaToken to introduce AlphaToken's tokenized gold product XAUa and other RWA Vault products to a broader group of qualified institutional buyers. The collaboration will be rolled out in phases, starting with XAUa gold, and will later expand to other RWA Vault products and buyer groups.
Each XAUa token corresponds to physical gold, denominated in grams, with a purity of 99.99%, meeting the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) certification standards, and is custodied by Brinks in Hong Kong. AlphaToken is responsible for issuance, while TBook channels qualifying institutional demand to the issuer. The asset's compliance rules are enforced at the protocol level through the permissioned asset standard (PAS) of the Sui blockchain, with assets transferable only between approved accounts and each transfer verified in real time.

US Treasury yields have reached a peak of 5.31%, the highest since 2002, and European bond markets have fallen to multi-decade lows. Despite this global bond market turmoil, equities remain unfazed: the S&P 500 is approaching its historical high, with all of the “Magnificent Seven” tech stocks advancing, and the STOXX 600 index in Europe touched a new intraday record. Earnings growth, rather than valuation expansion, has become the core support for equities, while the ongoing wave of AI capital expenditure continues to attract funds. However, Ray Dalio has warned that the US debt cycle is nearing its limit, raising questions about how much further this divergence between stocks and bonds can continue.
