According to Bits.media, the Russian central bank has announced that, starting from January 1, 2027, it will introduce incentive measures to encourage companies to use the digital ruble for salary payments. Commercial banks will receive a reward of 0.67 rubles for each salary or labor contract payment processed with the digital ruble by a company, with a minimum reward of 10 rubles per instruction list. The Russian central bank has also approved the digital ruble platform service fees, stating that from early 2027, the transaction fee for each company-to-individual transfer instruction will be 1 ruble, with a minimum charge of 15 rubles per instruction list.
