Abu Dhabi National Oil Company's LNG vessels reappear in the Persian Gulf, maritime transparency gradually recovering

```htmlGolden Ten Data reported on June 25 that, following the temporary peace agreement between the US and Iran, an increasing number of vessels have recently begun broadcasting their navigation routes and destination information. A liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier operated by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company has also started transmitting signals in the Persian Gulf. Ship tracking data shows that, after not transmitting signals for nearly two weeks, the LNG carrier “Umm Al Ashtan” owned by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company appeared in the Persian Gulf near the company’s LNG export facility on Das Island last Wednesday. This suggests that the vessel recently traversed the Strait of Hormuz with its transponder switched off. Recently, more ships are activating their transponders when entering and exiting the Persian Gulf, reflecting improving security conditions around the Strait of Hormuz. Although some vessels have begun publicly broadcasting their complete voyages in and out of the Persian Gulf, there are still some ships choosing to pass through the Strait of Hormuz with their signals turned off. However, the resumption of signal transmission within the Persian Gulf itself is already a noticeable change. For several months in the past, ships owned by the company had avoided doing so for safety reasons. After the US-Iran temporary peace agreement was signed, more LNG carriers have been able to pass freely. Since Monday, at least six empty oil tankers have crossed the Strait of Hormuz into the Persian Gulf. Meanwhile, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates are expanding LNG exports, with most of these vessels broadcasting signals as they transit the strait.```
