Golden Ten Data reported on June 25 that Thailand is expected to achieve a record export value of $366.8 billion this year, mainly due to global investments in artificial intelligence driving demand for Thai electronics. Nantapong Chiralerspong, Director of Thailand's Trade Policy and Strategy Office, recently stated that the total export value is expected to increase by 8% compared to 2025. Electronics products currently account for nearly one-third of Thailand's exports, and as global technology companies increase investments in AI infrastructure, this sector is expected to become the main growth driver. Thailand has long been a manufacturing base for electronics, but the AI boom is creating new sources of demand for its exports.
