U.S. stock index futures have seen a slight short-term rise, with Nasdaq 100 index futures up 2.4%. The yield on the U.S. 10-year Treasury has edged lower in the short term, currently quoted at 4.413%. Spot gold has surged over $20 in the short term and is now quoted at $3998.13 per ounce.
