Optical Communication, Storage Stocks Extend Losses, AI Hype Appears to Shift Toward Small-Cap Names

Among them, LITE dropped by 5.85%, COHR dropped by 7.77%, MRVL dropped by 4.11%, Micron dropped by 6.43%, and SNDK dropped by 7.88%.
On the other hand, some small-cap stocks showed relative resilience to the decline, with NBIS surging over 6% at one point during the trading day, and ALAB, a stock related to memory pooling concepts, rising by 3%.
