Eurozone bond yields edge slightly lower
According to Golden Ten Data on June 30, eurozone government bond yields edged lower, mirroring the movement of US Treasury yields. Christoph Rieger of Commerzbank stated that the potential for further significant declines in German government bond yields may be limited. "It may require even lower inflation data and for oil prices not to rebound in order to keep the 10-year German government bond yield around 2.85%," he said. There will be no eurozone government bond issuance on Tuesday, and following European Central Bank President Lagarde’s opening remarks on Monday, the ECB Forum in Sintra, Portugal may provide further insights.
